1948
In 1948, CELMA – Anonymous Manufacturing Company of Canziani Giuseppina (Grandmother of Eng. Limido) was founded in Castiglione Olona (VA).
1952
With Celma, production of cellophane bags and pouches began, later becoming Celsa (CELlophane SAcchetti).
Over time, production expanded to include shredded paper, hamburger discs, sheets for manual packaging of food products, items for wrapping flowers, reels and small reels of every size.
1982
From a sole proprietorship in 1982, Celsa became a partnership and in 2005 was transformed into a limited liability company. New films such as polypropylene, PLA, metallized and polyester were introduced to the wide range of products to adapt to the needs of a market in continuous evolution in the constantly developing packaging sector.
1986
In 1986, Celsa decided to found the subsidiary Eurofilm, which launched new plants in Vedano Olona (VA) on the Statale Varesina for modern, cutting-edge reel production.
1996
Expansion of the production facility in Vedano Olona 6,000 sq m.
2004
Construction of a new wing with adjoining offices and warehouses at the Vedano Olona site, 4,000 sq m.
2005
Thanks to diverse experience acquired, continuous updating of production processes, and dynamic flexibility, today the two companies can count on a modern production facility of approximately 12,000 covered square metres, divided into cutting, winding, hot perforation, die-cutting, shredding departments, and have a large, well-stocked and equipped warehouse for stock storage.
2007
PLURIPLAST S.R.L. begins the production of square bottom bags and micro-perforated bags, becoming the largest producer in Romania for this type of polypropylene bags.
2018
New construction of Pluriplast srl facility totaling approximately 4,000 sq m.
2020
Celsa srl and Eurofilm srl merge under the same brand to become Celsa-Eurofilm srl.
2024
Celsa-Eurofilm Vedano Olona: completion of the new photovoltaic system installation, reaching a total of approximately 390 kW of installed power.
